Sean Scanlon

Sales Manager & Product Development

Sales Manager and Product development encompasses all facets of the development, sale and installation of solar systems both on and off-grid. With over 7 years’ experience in the Renewable Energy sector, Sean has been involved in some of the largest commercial  solar installations in regional Western Australia and has successfully managed the installation and commissioning of technical installations including Horizon Power Generation Management energy smoothing systems.

Sean is responsible for liaising with client and key stakeholders from the initial consultation through to the completion of projects and provides ongoing support and services well after project completion.

Sean has been responsible for the development of the not-for-profit, Naturaliste Renewable Energy Group bulk-buy solar program and community solar farm projects. Sean has travelled extensively through Europe to review manufactures processes and identify innovative
technologies for the local Australian market.

Jamie Green

General Manager

As General Manager of Save Energy, Jamie is responsible for leading the company to deliver on its vision to transform the way society uses and manages energy. He has significant experience supporting corporate, government and commercial clients to improve business performance. Jamie has also established a number of high impact speciality electrical businesses in the mining sector.

He was formerly founder and Managing Director of Mining Electrical Supplies, Managing Director of West Elect Services Pty Ltd, Operations Director of Becker NCS Pty Ltd, State Manager MST and has decades of experience in the HV project and maintenance mining fields as supervisor of up to 50 persons.

Jamie’s industry experience and corporate network has helped Save Energy be acknowledged as one of the most trusted suppliers and installers of commercial solar applications in Western Australia and gained jobs for Roy Hill, Water Corp, Eagle Bay Brewing Co and local Shires.

Ben Clegg

Operations Manager

“Proper planning leads to successful projects and happy, long-term customers”

Ben as quickly become an integral part of the Save Energy team since starting with the company as Operations Manager.  His previous experience as Senior Superintendent at Rio Tinto has provided him the skills necessary to managing and install major Save Energy projects both on grid and off-grid throughout the state.

Ben is responsible for driving cost-effective, high-quality projects for Save Energy’s clients, with minimal disruption to business as usual. This includes Save Energy’s post installation management, which ensures that systems continue to deliver the expected results for our customers, long into the future.

Ben’s career spans almost 20 years in leadership roles in electrical construction in the mining sector. As Senior Construction Superintendent at Rio Tinto, he managed the design and implementation of electrical and instrumentation of major mining plant capacity upgrades.
